We have two morning services at 8am and 10am every Sunday in church. After the 10am service, we have a session at 11.30am in the church centre on the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month to explore our Journeys in Faith. See below for further details about each service.
8AM - Holy Communion (1929)
Our early Sunday service follows the Scottish Book of Common Prayer (1929), written in the poetic English of the 17th century. This is a spoken service of Holy Communion and lasts for around 30 minutes.
10AM - Sung Eucharist (1982)
Our 10am service follows the Scottish Liturgy 1982. This is a sung Eucharist, with a full choir and organ. Young Church starts in the service, leaving at the Gloria and returning for communion. There is also a Creché available throughout the year and the little ones can go there before the start of the service. Tea and coffee is served after the service, and our One World Shop is also open in hall.
6.30PM - Said Compline
Currently our evening service on a Sunday is a said compline service via video conferencing platform zoom. This is a short evening service and is held either in traditional or more modern language.
