Believing in the Everyday is a film series about everyday faith, faith as it is lived. Across the four films, we wanted to capture the different perspectives that people bring to their faith, but also how their faith interacts with their everyday life. How faith, in many ways, is simple, and is found in the simple acts of our daily lives.
With Jean, we have the chance to hear an older voice, looking across the different stages of her life – how when dealing with grief we can be reminded, and feel held by God, and by other people, as we lose those we love.

Florence reminds us that God can be experienced as much as understood, and prayer can become a part of an activity we do everyday, and not a separate one, something done alone or in private.
Marcus talks about his work for an international medical emergency organisation and how his faith – in the idea of hope – enables him to make sense of the work done in different countries as he writes about it to raise awareness of the conflict areas in the world.
John’s film demonstrates the value of faithfulness, of consistency and maintaining routines for decades, routines which not only serve the church but serve to help others in their faith.
