Learning and growing in faith for all ages, be that formally or informally, is a vital aspect of our life as Christian disciples, and plays a significant part in deepening our life as a community of faith. Whether it be quietly reading and reflecting at home, participating in one off sessions or a series, or being part of an ongoing group, we hope that at Christ Church there is something to meet the needs, desires, and different learning styles of a varied congregation.
Journeys in Faith Sunday sessions normally take place in the Church Centre after the 10am service on the 1st Sunday of the month. The programme consists of a mix of information sessions about different causes which the church supports, either internationally or in the UK; discussion of different aspects of Christian faith and practice (e.g. biblical, historical or theological themes); and practical sessions on different aspects of the church's life (e.g. training for Area Visitors). Recent and current themes for discussion are 'Women of Faith', Inter-Faith Issues, and Religion and Science. Each session starts at 11:30am in the Church centre – pick up your coffee from the church hall after the service and bring it along!
