We are seeking an experienced Rector, who believes in the inclusion of all God's people; values the integration of liturgy and music in our worship; demonstrates an ability to work with and motivate diverse teams; and is able to articulate their own spirituality in ways that engage thoughtfully with the bible, theological traditions and the contemporary world. Since March 2020 with the global pandemic and the lockdown measures, life has changed considerably for all churches. As the situation changes and we move towards opening the church and beginning services, we are looking for a new Rector who will support the congregation to come back together, learn from what has happened, and help Christ Church to be a strong Christian presence in the world.
The Profile below was written before the lockdown and therefore it is likely that some of the priorities within it will be revised as we move into the next phase.
