Young Church (age 4+) meet in church for the start of the service during term-term, leaving during the Gloria (or other indicated part of the liturgy) for their own gathering in the church centre, returning in time to receive a blessing or communion with the rest of the congregation. The material used is from Roots Resources, which offers the children an opportunity to follow the lectionary and do activities and reflection based on the readings. Four times a year there is a Young Church Service, when Young Church lead the worship.
Sunday Creche at 10am
The creche is available every Sunday of the year for children 0-4. Based in the Centre, with lots of toys, there is plenty of fun for the young children while the service is on. Children's Choir
Our Children's Choir began in the second half of 2023 and is directed by our Assistant Organist, Kat Whigham. The Children's Choir is open to anyone of school age, and meets at 11:45am after church on Sundays during term-time. The Children's Choir sings at special Sunday services throughout the year, as well as just singing for the fun of making music.
